Our History

G B PODAR T.T. Podar College has inherited its unique legacy from great visionaries and philanthropists such as Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya, Shri Jamnalal Bajaj, and Shri Anandilal Podar who played an instrumental role in the setting up the Anandilal Podar Trust. The Anandilal Podar Trust was established as Anandilal Podar Charitable Society in the year 1921 with Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi as one of the Founder Chairman-Trustee. The College came into existence as a Bhramchary ashram in the year 1921 which was converted into a High School in 1930. The school was promoted as the first intermediate Institution in the Shekhawati region in 1942.
